"Your too fat."
"I didn’t know [insert character] was black!"
"Why don’t you do more black cosplays?"
"Cosplay to your size!"
"I don’t think that looks right on you, why don’t you cosplay [insert character] instead?"
"Why is [insert character] black? They’re not black in the show."
"You shouldn’t cross-play, it looks weird on you."
"Your boobs are too big for [insert character]."
To everyone who as ever posted a comment or question like this, my answer:
I am a black plus size female cosplayer, if you don’t like it… well honestly I don’t care. The more you comment like an idiot, the more it feeds my will power to prove I’m an amazing cosplayer, not matter what you say. I may have days, or even weeks when I feel down about myself, but that will never stop me from doing what I love. I may have large boobs, chubby stomach, double chin, hair on my face, dark spots around my face and body, and a flat butt, but I rock any cosplay I put on. So grow up, and get out of my face. <3
so much talk about feminism in my dash tonight.
and i’m here like.
i’m against sexism against women but i don’t consider myself a feminist because of the negative implications of being a feminist and it reminds me about that time when people said “i’m into mlp but i don’t call myself a brony because of the negative implications”
and i kinda feel like i need a better point of view.
one who covers everything.
and separates everyone into their own category instead of looking for generalizations.
i’ve seen too many generalizations in here.
"all bronies are misogynist trash!"
"all feminists are insane!"
"all (group) is (negative idea)!"
over and over and over again.
and i concluded that:
people needs to learn how to judge individuals not based on the groups they identify with instead of judging a group based on individuals who identify with it.
PREACH IT TO THE MOTHERFUCKING HEAVENS.
So you’re saying, he REALLY could have been Superman!
Nicholas Cage Superman needs to happen.
This is directed at a friend of mine who I cant be bothered to stroll though his blog to find the post I’m looking for. So for this entire post, pretend that I am talking directly to him, okay? (This could’ve been avoided if he had the Submit feature on his blog, btw.) Ok. Let’s go.
The fact of the matter is that when you (hypothetical you) devote a given amount of time and energy into creating/viewing porn of something that was never intended as such, there’s a certain degree of self-awareness that ought to come with it.
It doesn’t actually matter whether you’re making porn of a crappy MS Paint webcomic or a large franchise children’s cartoon. Shoehorning explicit sexuality into something that doesn’t actually have it is (and let’s be reasonable here) sad.
Let’s ask a hypothetical question. Who is more pathetic? The guy with a sexualized Rainbow Dash body pillow, the guy with a sexualized anime girl body pillow, or the girl with a Dante body pillow?
Trick question: All three of them are equally pathetic because they paid money to have these things made in the first place.
And the fact of the matter is that watching two people argue over who’s pathetic, pandering Rule 34 community is more ethical is like watching two blind people arguing over their whack-a-mole scores. In fact, if you caught the double entendre, it’s exactly like watching two blind people arguing over their whack-a-mole scores.
Just admit that you’re weird. I’ll respect that a lot more than people trying to drum up flimsy little workaround justifications. I’ve said before that I don’t have any ethical issues with people who enjoy Rule 34, but the people who enjoy it are still fucking weird as shit.
You bet your fucking ass I’m weird. I accepted the fact that I’ve got some pretty fucked up fetishes a LONG time ago and been happier ever since.
WHAT IS THE FUCKING POINT
YOU COULD BE A FUCKING BADASS DRAGON THAT’S THE POINT
"I AM A CREATURE OF DARKNESS" "oh hey sabrina."
I guess the point is that you could shapeshift into the body you always thought you’d grow into when you were a kid
taller, shorter, slimmer, more muscular, purple hair, tattoos everywhere, tattoos nowhere,
every single shoe would fit you every single time you tried it on, every single article of clothing would fit your perfectly, all you have to do is transform slightly, you’d never run out of ‘your size’ again
and you wouldn’t have to work for it at all, and you’d never be limitted by your bone structure or something. You could just transform at will.
I don’t see how this is much of a downside
When you turn into a sixty story tentacle demon and terrorize a city you want to get the credit you deserve
Oh man that would be so sweet. I could be an annoying fuck as an insect or something but you couldn’t kill me because everyone would know
Would probably just permashift into a tiger and live in a jungle
Totally would press it… I could do anything! I could swim as a shark, or fly like and eagle, or become an ultimate tentacle raping monster that molests anything in its line of sight, or i could make fun of peoples looks, or improve my looks, or even BECOME A TIRE
you have to drag it a bit past the line until its off the post and the cursor gets sucked into the fucking shadow realm
WHAT THE FUCK
